4 Storey block of 5 on a very tight town site.

BMK design undertook the design of a 4 storey block of 5 town houses early 2015.

Many issues with this site existed 1/ the site was in a narrow road and no access for cranes or lorry's. 2/ The site itself didn't have any right angles what so ever.

The ground floor of the houses were below ground floor level therefore the client went with a traditional build and a retaining tanking wall. Once the below ground walls were built BMK surveyed the site and took as many cross dimension's as possible so that frame and angles were 100 percent spot on. See the layout below.

Once the survey was complete BMK generated a Precut soleplate with angles. A second survey was then completed once the soleplate was fixed down, making fine adjustments to the general layout and angles.

BMK then generated the panels so that each panel could be man handled into place.
